Living Places investigates the "soul" of physical locations in a large metropolis that are not included in the touristic guides, but shelter the identity of the local people, their culture, their habits, their families and friends.
In Rio de Janeiro, places like;
The Saint Cristobal Fair, home of Northeastern culture and folklore.
The "Charm Music" Ball under the Madureira Overpass, that congregates Rio natives in a party rocked by "Black Music".
And the legendary Cacique de Ramos, birthplace for some of the greatest names in Samba.
All these are places that, although inanimate, an brought to life by their patrons who make them an extension of their homes.
