During the 1930's, Brazilian composer, maestro and musician Heitor Villa-Lobos left his prolific musician life to embark on a mission that made him responsible for Brazil's first music education program in the country spanning this important process over many generations.
In honor of this incredible educator, maestro and composer, the Radamés Gnattali Quartet promotes a series of educational documentaries with lots of music and information, recorded in some of the most beautiful palaces around Rio de Janeiro using the genre that populated Villa's entire music career, the String Quartets.
